A very fine and happy Thursday to you! I'm extra tired today, because we took our 3 year old to the baseball game last night. Because the Dbacks recently completed an 18 inning marathon, which was the longest game in franchise history, they offered $18 lower level seats for their series with the Padres. I couldn't resist going down, particularly since I was able to get us front row seats right along the right field line.
The DBacks lost, which was a bummer, but the highlight of the night was DEFINITELY at the end of the first inning. I had told the little lady there was an excellent chance that she would get a ball because of where we were sitting. She was so excited about the whole idea and before the game was asking and asking about it. As it happened there ended up only being one chance for her to get one - and that was at the end of the first inning. Chris Denorfia of the Padres caught a fly at the end of the first in right and came down the line looking for someone to give it to. As soon as he saw her, it was clear Aki was getting the ball. She was SO excited and actually sat there petting it. LOL So I'd expect you all will see some layouts commemorating that moment very soon!
Now on to scrapping! I'm up over today on the Whimsical Twist blog and you definitely want to check that out, because I have a video scraproom tour up over there! I thought it would be fun to share how I've organized my little corner of space
I'm also sharing this project life spread over there today! Lots of stitching on this one using a bunch of Amy Tangerine goodies. I've got some close ups on the WT blog for you to see. There is also some info about an awesome sale going on at WT right now up, so head over to see what is up!
That's all from me today! Hope you have a fantastic Thursday!
