Happy Friday everyone! Today I am super lucky to be part of a blog hop with Kiwi Lane and some of our fabulous crafty friends! Hopefully you got her from Jessica's blog, but if not, head off to Kiwi Lane's blog to start hoping along!
I actually worked with all 4 February featured sets on this layout (Clara Lane, Sweetheart, Tiny Sweetheart, and Tiny Accents), but my absolute favorite set to play with was Tiny Accents. Tiny Accents has all sorts of different shapes - flowers, gears, starbursts - and the flowers have always been an easy fit for me since I have two little girls. I never in a million years thought I'd be able to use the gears, particularly in a themed way. These pictures are from a monument park at the CERN laboratory in Switzerland/France. I was lucky to spend a summer there, helping to work on the super collider currently in operation. This park has several piece of previous colliders and other large machinery.
I thought the photos worked great with the October Afternoon 9-5 collection. I topped my little gears with some Woodland park buttons - love how OA's collections all work so well together.
Remember that ONE lucky and random person will win a $25 Kiwi Lane Gift Certificate. The winner will be chosen from across all of the comments on the blog hop. So the more blogs you comment on, the more chances you have to win!
Also, I am hosting a personal giveaway here on my blog. One random commentor on this blog post, who is also a follower of my blog, will win one Kiwi Lane Designer Template set of their choice. I will order it through their site and have it directly shipped to you! So your comments here on my blog give you a double chance to win some KLD goodies!
Comments must be posted by 11:59 MST Sunday 2/3/2013 for both giveways. The winner of the KLD GC will be announced on the Kiwi Lane Blog Wednesday morning. The winner of my giveaway of a template set will be announced here Wednesday morning.
Now hop on over to Sherri's blog to see what KLD goodies she has to share with you!
PS There will be a second blog hop with Scrapbooksteals.com going up on my blog today! Make sure to hop along with that one as well for the chance for a GC at Scrapbooksteals and a second chance to win a KLD template set from me.
