Scrapbooksteals Mid-Week Mojo Jade #2

I'm eeking in my Jade 2 layout for scrapbooksteals.com. Its been a busy homemade Christmas projects week! If you want to check out the sketch for Jade #2 and learn a little more about the Mid-Week Mojo fun, be sure to check out the scrapbooksteals blog!

Now on to my layout.  The original sketch is a 1 page sketch, but when I looked at it I saw the perfect sketch to stretch into a 2 pagers to document my 12 instagram photos from 12.12.12.  I combined 3 photos into each of the 4x6 photos.  This, of course, meant that each of the photos was cropped away from its square status, but that's okay.  I can definitely still see what I"m looking at and know the stories behind the photos.

I ended up using only Echo Park's Times and Seasons collection.  It seemed appropriate.  I also, of course, brought a little bit of Kiwi Lane goodness to the party.  I used Adorn 3A to make the scallops in red and Tag #5 for my journaling tag.  I used lots of stickers, borders, and a couple journaling cards from Times and Seasons.

I really like the layout - I maybe in hindsight would have liked it better on kraft cardstock, but the white works as well!

I've managed to fall a couple days behind on my December Journal, but its on my to-do list tonight!  So hopefully I'll have a post for you tomorrow!
