And now ... Pearl 8 :)

Okay, I'm caught up now.  I finished up Pearl 8 today!  It sure is nice to have all of the vacation photos to use right now - I've gotten two pages done and probably can do another dozen or more!  Now, I just have to tackle my Project Life from last week to get myself caught up.  It might be a two week weekend for me!

Anyway, here is the sketch for Pearl 8 from the wonderful Kristy Lee:

I'm glad I'm not the only one addicted to Instagram sized 4x4 prints.  :)  Here is my interpretation of the sketch:

Right now I seem to be in my "resist the curved shape" phase.  :)  I'm all about layering (thank you Pop Off the Page), but for whatever reason I find myself resisting non-organic/natural round shapes.  That being said, I had a lot of fun with this layout and love how the colors of Amy Tangerine Sketchbook go perfectly with the colors of the photo.  My big girl and hubby are super cute cuddling on the float!
