I had some fantastic ideas come to me while I was pondering the layout today and amazingly, the layout more or less turned out just like I pictured it in my head.
I stayed close to the sketch as far as the general layout, but made a few tweaks with specific elements. I wanted to keep mostly straight lines with a lot of triangles and triangle "angles." This makes the curved edges of the butterflies and journalling block stand out even more.
I adore how the ombre chevron element turned out and the triangle banner that is layered on it. They just make me happy. LOL!
Now to make sure that I get Pearl #4 done on time this week!
