Mid-Week Mojo Pearl #2

It's been a weird week in my house, so I haven't had time to sit down and pull together an entire layout.  I can do a card in a fairly short burst, but layouts tend to take me at least 1.5-2 hours and its been hard to find that kind of time.  Heck, I ended up doing my Pearl #2 layout over 4 hours, getting up and down to take care of the two little ladies.

I have noticed a trend with my scrapping the last couple of weeks.  I refuse to do just a plain banner.  :)  Last week it was little flowers; this week its butterflies.  I guess I'm just not a huge triangular banner person.  

I used Echo Park's Little Girl paper collection for this layout, which seems appropriate as its my two little princesses.  I whitewashed the background paper with Picket Fence Distress Ink, because it was a little two bright for me.  I actually really like the kinda chalky, streaky look that it gave the paper.  Lawn Fawn's Flutter By provided the flowers and the butterflies which I colored with my new Distress Markers and stickled the heck out of.  :)  Some AC Thickers completed the page.

I have to say I have two cute little ladies and they definitely make the layout.  :)
